How To Program an Autostart Remote Control Without a Hoodpin

We made this video to briefly explain how you can program an Autostart brand remote control *IF* your vehicle does not have a hoodpin.

If you do not know what a hoodpin is, watch this video as we explain it, or watch the video linked here as we explain it in that video as well: youtu.be/OMH7a5xjTr4?list=PLtgunQWrxEKijM4ekQj3…

Hoodpin's are required in order to program an Autostart remote control, but in many cases they are either broken or not installed on the vehicle, meaning you cannot properly follow the Autostart remote control programming instructions. This video will show you a way to program the remote in this case.

Keep in mind this video is speaking of things that are quite technical in nature, if you do not feel comfortable taking the under dash of your vehicle apart, or what this video shows you seems scary, then we suggest you consult a professional installer.
