Description from the creator

How to play beautiful instant fingerpicking songs with an AmpleSound guitar VST ? This video will provide you with some presets and guidance on how to write this form of arpeggio.

Fingerpicking is a very popular technique, used in many genres, but it can be a tricky thing to program, since it requires a precise work on velocities and articulations. But in this tutorial video, I'll provide you presets and with some guidance on how to use them and customize properly.

On a real guitar, a fingerpicking song will start with a chord progression. It can sound a bit obvious, but it's the first step towards a good song. And the second step is to find a pattern. A pattern is the order in which you choose to pluck the strings. The major rule to follow here is once your have your chord progression and once have your pattern, you need to start playing that pattern, and keep on playing that same pattern over and over even when you switch chords.

Fingerpicking is all about repetition and structure, and the melody mainly comes from the pattern and the chord switches.

Now, there are several ways to design fingerpicking with an AmpleSound guitar :

1- Strummer: The big advantage is that you just design one chord progression, one pattern, and tadaaa! You have a song.

2- MIDI: with MIDI it becomes easier to adjust velocities and articulations.

3- Riffer: if you're a guitarist, it's a very intuitive interface.
