If you have a printer that supports AirPrint, then printing from an iPhone is a walk in the park — and these days, many printers offer AiPrint compatibility. If your printer doesn't recognize AirPrint but does have Wi-Fi print capabilities, you'll still probably be able to print remotely from a phone using an associated third-party app.

How to add an AirPrint printer to an iPhone and print from it
1. Make sure both the printer and your phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Open the file (picture, note, etc.) to be printed on your iPhone.
3. Tap the "Share" icon, which is a box with an arrow pointing upward out of it.
4. Select "Print" on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
5. Tap "Select Printer" to find any AirPrint enabled printers nearby, and tap your chosen device.
6. Tap "Options" if you want to change the settings (color or black-and-white, and double-sided or single).
7. Select "Print."
The AirPrint enabled printer will now be added to your list of preferred devices and will come up as an option for printing whenever in range.
If your printer doesn't support AirPrint and it is an HP Printer, then you can download their application called HP Smart.
