This video will show you how to convert from fractions into percentages when you have a calculator. You can use the formula:
Numerator/Denominator x 100
So in example 1, you need to convert 7/8 into a percentage. So on your calculator type in 7 divided by 8 and times this by 100 -- this will give you an answer of 87.5%
In example 2, you are told that Lucy scored 31 out of 40 on a test and you need to convert her score into a percentage.
First write here score as a fraction, that is 31/40.
Now type in 31 divided by 40 and times this answer by 100. This will give an answer of 77.5%.
