There is no one solution for cleaning all jewelry. Organic stones require special care to ensure they are not damaged. The term "organic" refers to porous gemstones that should not be exposed to harsh chemicals of jewelry cleaner or silver detarnisher, nor the heat and vibration of ultrasonic cleaners:
emrald, opal, pearl, coral, amber, moonstone, labradorite, turquoise, agate, cameo.
Also avoid polishing these stones with a jewelry polishing cloth. You can use a jewelry polishing cloth on the metal elements of your jewelry, but clean these stones with a clean, soft, microfiber cloth like those used to clean eyeglasses.
