Description from the creator

Learn how to track spend using Excel! In this short Excel tutorial, we create a spend tracker file that can be used to track spend and track when bills are due. Use this to help you budget!

Using the example in this video, you can create a spend tracking spreadsheet that will help you track your expenses by type of expense and by pay period cycle. Basically, you'll create a monthly budget in Excel.

Enter your expenses for the coming weeks or months, enter what you expect to be paid by week and you'll be able to see what your cash flow actually looks like.

You can also manage your budget with this spend tracking spreadsheet - by entering your spend goals by type of spend. This can help you follow a budget! And if you make any changes to your budget, you'll be able to see right away how that will affect your money.

You could also use this spreadsheet when you have family money meetings. It'll make it easier for everyone to see how much money is being spent on different things.
