Why it's important: If your clothing brand design is similar to someone else, you want to make sure the liability is limited to Business.

Then ask your Accountant about restructuring to an S corp.

2. Copyright or Licensing and trademarks:
Copyright protects artistic materials
Trademark more for logos and stuff
Licensing is paying a few to use a design

3. Website:
Shopify, Amazon or your own website

Oh and don’t forget getting a domain for your website name.

Expenses:
1. Shopify will cost: 29-299 bucks
2. Marketing: which is time or money
3. Making inventory: which could be free or cost you cash

- And good for supplier and compare quality and prices
4. Making designs so the software ( if your not creative, just get someone on Fiverr to make your ideas come to life from 5-100 bucks)

Profit:
1. It's recommended you have 100% percent, Mark, up when it comes to your product or higher

2. Profit margin Could be 15%-25%

3. Why: You can make to make sure you cover:

Taxes
Manufacturing
And promotions

Steps to Do it correctly:
1. Design and trademark ( ps, a lot of my friends just say trademark pending, while they get the money together)
- Fiverr to get people to do your designs
- Photoshops and illustrator
2. Chose Product/ Niche ( what part of clothing to you want to focus on)
- Streetwear
- Fan ware
- Memes and all that stuff
3. Market it ( find the audience that would like it, and market)
- Paid Marketing: Running ads with money and testing how much money you have to spend per customers
- Organic Marketing: Is building a brand and content for your brand online.
I recommend a youtube channel with the story and Instagram to go along with it
- Connection Marketing :
Reaching out to Blogs, YouTubers and other people in your area to help you promote for a kickback.

Tip: people buy Stories, not products

4. Sell
- Make sure you have an amazing return policy
- Smooth checkout system
- And great customer support

5. Make it to Order, Premake, or Hands off
- You can create the T-shirts as they come
- Premake an amount and say we only have this much
- Use Amazon, Redbubble or Tsprng, to make the T-shirts as they sell

6. Ship
- The faster the better
- Include a message
- And also a thank you note
