Twitter allows users to send and receive direct messages from other Twitter users.

You can delete direct messages on your Twitter account using the Twitter app on your Android device.

To delete a Direct Message, tap and hold the message and select Delete from the menu that pops up. You can also delete an entire conversation by tapping and holding the conversation and select Delete.
When you delete a direct message or conversation, it is only deleted from your account and not from the account of the person you were communicating with.
