Learn how to update windows 7 operating system as well as how to use the windows 7 update settings in this simple tutorial.

Updates provide significant benefits such as improved security and reliability. If your windows 7 PC is not configured to update automatically, you can update it via the control panel as demonstrated in the video.
windows 7 updates are classified into important updates and other updates.
To install optional (other) updates, you need to review and select them from a list of updates that windows 7 has found for your PC. These include drivers for some of the devices attached to your PC.

In this video I have also attempted to explain the different windows update settings and their use.
You can also view a list of the updates you have installed from update history on the left pane or from the control panel as shown in the video.
