How to Draw a Set of Keys (drawing tips)
ChannelIQ DoodleDescription from the creator
Learn how to doodle at IQ Doodle School: school.iqdoodle.com/
Step 1: Use a combination of arcs and lines to doodle your first set of keys as shown in the example below. Your key doesn’t necessarily need to look like this. Feel free to use your imagination. 🙂
Step 2: Next, doodle another key behind your original key. Keep in mind that your original key is closer in view. Therefore, it overlaps your second key. As such, your second key is only partly visible as shown in the example below.
Step 3: Now, doodle a third key on the left side of your original key. Your original key is closer in view, it, therefore, overlaps the third key as shown in the example below. Keep in mind that your keys don’t necessarily need to be an exact copy of this example. Feel free to vary the patterns of the lines.
Step 4: It’s time now to add some depth and character to your set of keys. Use straight and curved lines to show shadows, indents, and reflections. Also, use circles on the head of each key. This will be used to hang the keys on your keyring. 🙂
Step 5: The final step is to give your keys some color. It’s always helpful to have each key in a different color. This will help you to distinguish which key is for the front and back door. 🙂 Feel free to color the keys whichever way you like.
