How to Effectively Work From Home

9 tips to help you work from home and be productive while you are at it. Working from home is more challenging than many people think.. when you're working in the office everything you need is right at your fingertips, and so are all the people you need to talk to. When you work from home you need to work extra hard to stay energized, keep your mind focused, and communicate with your team mates.

Set aside a working area (Not your bed!)
Change out of your pajama
Make a pot of coffee
Dedicate a time to “work” before wondering into your kitchen/living room/play with your dog
By the same token, designate a “refresh” time, go for a 20 minute jog in the neighborhood twice a day for example
Get a polycom if needed
Multiple monitors
Ask your boss if you can bring the ones from work home
Get a good office chair
Call the person you need to talk to instead of text
