Description from the creator

In this video we will discuss the due diligence required by the franchisee before purchasing a franchise. There are many areas to look at when deciding to purchase a franchise. The first is to examine the FDD (franchise disclosure document), which is prepared by franchisors and contains information for franchisees to examine before purchasing their franchise. The second area is to communicate with other franchisees, both previous as well as existing. You should also contact a lawyer who strictly specializes in representing franchisees to have them review the franchise agreement.

It's important to look into the initial costs that the franchisor requires you to pay ($5,000 up to $70,000) before you get started. In some cases, the franchisee could lose their initial fee before the franchise agreement moves forward. Sometimes this can be negotiated. You will also have continual royalty fees that you must pay to the franchisor, as well as advertising / marketing fees.

If you are looking to purchase a franchise, it is important to contact an experienced lawyer who specializes in franchisee businesses. To see if Goldstein law Group is right for you, please visit our website: goldlawgroup.com/franchise-agreement-review/?ut….
