Description from the creator

Example problem to find Reynolds number to determine if the flow in the pipe is laminar or turbulent.

Reynolds number is a famous dimensionless parameter in fluid mechanics that was named in honour of Osborne Reynolds.

Using the variables: characteristic length, velocity, density and viscosity of a fluid Osborne was able to relate these variables to determine an equation for finding the ratio of inertial forces to viscous forces.

RE less than 2000 yields a laminar flow
RE greater than 2000 generally results in a turbulent flow
