I spent 12 years in the staffing industry as well as been an employer most of my working career.

Applying for a temp agency is similar to applying for a job.

However it is little different because the staffing agency is going to view you as a product. I don't mean that be offensive but they are going to market you and that is how they make money.

So does not mean they are not going to choose you. It means they more than likely will put you into their pool unless there are major RED FLAGs... Because of this you need be on your best and be ready and willing to go into a variety of areas to start of with.

If your in a position your happy with that is best for them. However be open minded willing to take some risk you never know what you will find and maybe something different you like better than anything you have done.
