Hi and welcome. Today I will try to import mov file in a camtasia studio. Let's check it out I would just drag and drop it and got this error. It says that it cannot load the file because it requires quicktime version 7.2. So if this is a solution let's check the solution let's a go to apple.Com and download some quicktime. Okay to download and install quicktime for windows we just need to go to the official apple website I will put this in the description so you can access it immediately and click download. Okay nice, I'll now just download it on my desktop and save it. Okay, we download quicktime so let's just run it, and let's just install quicktime just click next click yes and click custom so you can see that these old quicktime optional features are turned off because I don't need them right now, I'll just prefer manual and click nice and click install. Ok, just click yes, and wait for a second. Nice our quick time is finished so let's click finish and let's now try to repeat the process, let's try right now to import mov file. Did we get this error? Camtasia studio is either unsupported media type or required codecs are not found. So let's just restart our camtasia you got this error. Let's just run camtasia again and let's start to import it now. Something is happening. It seems that we successfully import mov file and we can drag and drop it over here and it works it works so just remember that you need to restart your camtasia so you can import your mov file.
