Description from the creator

Excel tutorial to learn how to create a password using random letters and numbers in Excel. We’ll create a password generator file that you can save and use anytime you need a new password.

In this example, we’ll make a password that will have 7 random characters made up of uppercase case letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

We'll create our password generator file by using a combination of the CHAR function, the RANDBETWEEN function, and the LOWER function.

What is the CHAR formula in Excel?
The CHAR formula translates computer code (ASCII) into familiar letters, numbers and symbols.

What is the RANDBETWEEN formula in Excel?
The RANDBETWEEN formula generates a random number based on a set range. Between 1 and 10, for example.

What is the LOWER formula in Excel?
The LOWER formula is used to change capitalization. Using LOWER changes all text to lowercase.
