How to Memorise ANYTHING: Step-By-Step Guide

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to memorise absolutely anything. This video is particularly useful for those attempting to memorise essays, stories or speeches off by heart. The process is simple enough on its surface, but remember: to truly learn something quickly relies heavily on focus. The steps are listed below:

Step 0: Time your draft (so you don't memorise something too long to begin with)

Step 1: Print out your draft in hard copy

Step 2: Find a quiet space (no distractions)

Step 3: Read your first sentence aloud (looking at the page)

Step 4: Repeat the sentence aloud without looking until you can say it perfectly by heart

Steps 5-6: Repeat Steps 3-4 for the next sentence

Step 7: Now say BOTH sentences together (aloud) without looking (repeat until perfect)

Step 8: Continue until you can say the entire paragraph without looking

Step 9: Once a full paragraph is memorised, write it out without looking

Step 10: Repeat Steps 3-9 for the entire draft, and then write the entire piece out without looking.
