Description from the creator

Hi folks,
Here is a brief video on the hearing threshold-seeking technique using the modified Hughson-Westlake procedure. Audiologists from all around the world use this technique to measure hearing loss. Most screening assessment will be conducted testing the frequencies of 1000Hz, 2000Hz, 4000Hz and 500Hz. A hearing screening test usually tests down to 20dB (and not lower) to ensure hearing falls within normal limits - this is handy if one is testing many people in a school or clinic situation. In this video, however, the threshold-seeking technique is shown.
