How to Permanently Delete Your Spotify Account

Watch this tutorial video to learn how to delete your Spotify account. If you’re switching to a new music streaming service, or simply do not want to use Spotify anymore, we’re here to help you through the process of closing your Spotify account.

To delete your Spotify account, go to spotify.com and log in. Scroll down and click About. Then click Contact Form. Next, select Account. Then click “I want to close my Spotify account permanently.” Then click Close Account. Type in the reason you want your account closed, then click Send Question.

Once Spotify customer support has received your request, they will send you an email to let you know that your account has been closed. This process can take some time, so be patient while waiting for them to get back to you.
