How to Read More Books (and Stay Consistent!)

In this video you'll learn about the two things I do to ensure I have more books in my life.

In 2017, I was able to consume a total of 45 books, something I was able to accomplish as a business owner, parent of 2 wild kids, and someone who doesn't hate watching Netflix.

It's more than just "turn your phones off" or "have a balanced media diet", so make sure you not only watch, but also take action on what you learn.

Reading has become so important to me because for non-fiction, it's how I can quickly learn something that another person took years (usually) to figure out. For fiction, it's a quick way for me to be entertained and escape the whirlwind of life as a parent entrepreneur. Not that I don't love being a parent, or an entrepreneur, but it's nice to fly on a broomstick every once and a while, if you know what I mean.

Reading has also allowed me to become a better writer, too. Since creating a habitual reading practice, I've had a much clearer mind when writing blog posts, creating scripts for videos and podcast episodes, and even writing books, too.
