Description from the creator

Hey there, DIY enthusiasts! 👋

In today's video, I'll show you how to release the tensioner in order to remove the serpentine belt. I know it can be tough to get the tensioner to release, but with the right technique and tools, you'll be able to do it yourself!

For this task, you'll need the following tools:
- Flat head screwdriver
- 17mm socket with a ratchet
- 21mm half-inch socket with a torque bar (torque is 80lbs for this Altima)

I'll guide you step by step on how to properly release the tensioner and remove the serpentine belt. It's important to replace the belt when you notice cracks, squealing, or squeaking noises. As a general recommendation, it's good practice to replace the belt every 30,000 miles.
