How to respond during the Adhan (Call to Prayer)

Have you ever wondered what can we say upon hearing the Adhan (call to prayer)?

In this video, we shall learn how to respond during the Adhan, in shaa Allah. This is following the way of the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

We can repeat what the Mu'adh-dhin says, except for when he says:
"حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ وَحَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ"
‘Hayya 'alas-Salaah’ (‘Hasten to the prayer’) and ‘Hayya 'alal-Falaah’ (‘Hasten to salvation’).
Here you should say:
"لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ"
‘Laa hawla wa laa quwwata 'illaa billaah.’
“There is no might and no power except by Allah”
