Hey everyone, and welcome to the video. Today we are going to be trying the dreaded Beep Test. Since we won't be able to test our beep test score at the end of this year I thought you guys could try it at home.

To set up the beep test at home you'll need to do a few things. First you'll need to set the beep test video on a speaker either outside on the grass or on the concrete somewhere. (I'll include the beep test link in the description). Next you'll want to mark out an area. The beep test is supposed to be 20 meters long so what I would do is either get a measuring tape and measure out the distance or count out about 40 steps and set a marker down at your beginning and end so you know where to run in between. After that you're all ready to race.

Remember that at each level the beep lengths are the same. Meaning that all of the level 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 beeps are the same length so you don't need to continually increase your speed. Only go a bit faster at the beginning of a new level and try to pace out your speed so that you don't get too tired to fast.

Today I was able to get Mr. Trenchard in on the beep test and Mr. T made it to level 8 and I made it to level 10. Remember if you miss 3 beeps total then you should stop running and where ever you stop is your score. If you beat either Mr. T or myself let me know and you'll win a prize! Good luck guys!
