Description from the creator

Although many people may think Snapchat doesn’t store any data about your activity on the app, that’s actually not the case. Watch this video to learn how to download a copy of your Snapchat data and see proof of snaps sent & received!

To access your Snapchat history data, open your computer’s web browser and go to accounts.snapchat.com. Then log into your account. Select My Data. Scroll down and tap Submit Request. Snapchat will then send an email to the email address connected to your Snapchat account with a link to download your Snapchat data. Click the link within the email to go to the download page. Click the link near the top to download a zipped folder containing your data. When the download is complete, click the download at the bottom of your browser window to open the folder. Then open the html subfolder. Then, click on the file for the type of data you’d like to see. You can see your chat history, snap history, and more. Everything is listed alphabetically. When you open one of these files, you’ll see a page like this. When looking at your snap history, you’ll be able to see who you sent a snap to or received one from, the type of snap, and the date and time. This will not allow you to view any pictures or videos you sent or received. Look through these files to see more about your recent activity on Snapchat.
