How to set up a mixer for live streaming | Yamaha MG12XU Virtual Walkthrough

I regularly get asked what people need to do to use their mixer with multiple inputs and outputs to live stream and separate game sound from Discord/voice chat or from music, so I put together this "virtual walkthrough" of how you might use the Yamaha MG12XU mixer to route your audio sources for streaming.

These general principles will apply to most mixers - just account for the available sub-mixes, aux sends, etc. on your specific mixer.
