In part 3 I talk about how to get a time commitment to shadow the same doctor multiple times, how to get a strong letter of recommendation that is personalized to you rather than written for someone else and just changing the name to yours, and finally a few thoughts on thank you cards to the doctor and to his staff, as well as keeping detailed records of the doc and staff's names, the dates you shadowed, and the impressions you had while shadowing the doctor. You will need these records later on when you compose your personal statement and for applications to medical school.
