How to Share the Gospel with an Atheist [8 tips]

Evangelism is our mission, but we don't always effectively share the gospel with people. These 8 tips will help us evangelize and interact with atheists and other non-Christians.

One hurdle to evangelizing others is poor communication skills. Christians too often make bad arguments, resort to ad hominems, act rudely, and preaching false doctrine. We must improve.

In this video, I offer 8 tips to help us interact with atheists and other nonbelievers as we share the gospel with them. Those tips are:

1. Don't presume their beliefs
2. Ask what they believe and why
3. Listen in order to understand
4. Know what you believe and why
5. Realize you don't have all the answers
6. Share the biblical gospel
7. Share the gospel with confidence and compassion, not condescension
8. Show them God's love

After watching this video, you should be better prepared for evangelism and sharing the gospel with an atheist or any other non-Christian.
