First… switch off the pain!
Put the burn under cold running water to cool it. Continue until the pain doesn't go away.

Now clean the burned area well. And cover it with the right plaster. It has to give immediate relief, protect against infections and let you have a look at the burn.

Let's debunk a few myths!
- Oil, butter and potatoes are perfect in the oven, not on burned skin
- The place for ice is in the freezer. If you put it directly on the burn, you risk getting a cold burn!

And please, never burst the blisters! Don't touch them, especially the first 2 or 3 days.

And don't forget! In case of serious burns… go to the emergency room or see a specialist.
