We think it is penny wise and a pound foolish not to hire a lawyer if you have a serious case. We think we can put a lot more money in your pocket then you will do without us, even with our attorneys' fees.

But... people are going to ignore that advice and try to represent themselves and write their own demand letters. In many cases, they end up doing more harm then good and would be better off just sending them the medical records --- or even letting the insurance company collect the medical records -- and just wait for the offer.
