Linux Tutorial 11 Basics Of File Permissions

In this part of the Linux Bash for beginners course we are going to take a look at the basics of file permissions in Linux.

Linux has some very complex file permissions that you can set and adjust at many levels. In this tutorial I will demonstrate the basics of Linux file permissions. We are going to use the chmod command to adjust the permission of the files that we have previously created.

This tutorial will help those those learning LPIC-1 (Linux Professional institute Certified) System Administrator Level 1
