Hey dancers! Today Matt teaches you a dance trick (0:36). This dance trick is a cartwheel flip over, so some of you could say it's an acro trick. This is one of my favorite go to contemporary dance movements to place in choreography because it just looks cool, let's get real. Matt walks you through the step by step of how to do the dance flip. Be sure to start slow and steady, then werk your way to up to the real deal. Gymnastics has been a big part of dance technique for a while now, so this is a great start in learning beginner acro. Don't forget all of his great dance tips at 4:14. Good luck my loves! xo
