How To Cast Push Button Fishing Reels For Kids

There is nothing better than getting a young kid into fishing than a push button fishing reel. They are easy to use, and there is only one button to push.

To cast a push button fishing reel, all you do is push down the button, make your cast, and let go of the button at the right trajectory.

If you notice your lure/bait is slapping the water in front of you, then you need to release the button earlier. If your lure/bait is doing a rainbow above you, then you need to release the push button a bit later.

Once you have mastered a push button reel, the next step would be a bait caster or spinning reel.
