Description from the creator

How to clean a chemical stained stainless steel kitchen sink without a polisher.

I used Bar Keeper's Friend, a scrubbing sponge and elbow grease. I also tried Brasso to see if that would work on it.

I spent a good half hour getting the stains out of the stainless steel sink. It took a lot of good scrubbing and elbow grease to get it out.

Depending on they type of chemical that caused the stain in the sink could make a difference if this method would work or not for you. In this video it was toilet bowl cleaner that stained the stainless sink. It has acid in it along with who knows what other chemicals.

Things I'd do differently. I would have purchased the more abrasive Bar Keepers Friend that should have made it easier, along with using a green sponge with a more abrasive scrubbing pad. If budget is not an issue with you or if you already have a polisher then go with a polisher and pad and try it that way. It should make it light work to get the chemical stains out of the sink.

Here is an Amazon link to the Bar Keepers Friend that I used

This is the one that I probably should have used because it will be more abrasive which should make the chemical stain easier to get out of the sink. amzn.to/2yMWOPA
