DIY: How to clean coffee and tea stained cups and mugs! 10 years of coffee and milk tea stained stainless steel travel mug cleans up really easy with denture cleaning tablets ( amzn.to/3301sYm ). I just soak the cup overnight with about 4 tablets. It softens all the protein and stains right off the stainless steel walls! A simple wash and its like NEW!

This works with stainless steel travel mugs (amzn.to/2MVSEgL) even if you wash it daily with dish washing liquid ( amzn.to/2JyHzjt ) and dish washing sponge (amzn.to/2MVIcG2 ) . Its the protein build up of the milk and sugars that stain the walls of the mug.
