To disable the 'your computer might be at risk' popup in Windows XP / server 2003 either:

click on the popup itself
click 'Change the way Security Center alerts me' in Security Center
uncheck the desired boxes
click 'OK'
close Security Center

or:

click 'start'
click 'Control Panel'
click 'Security Center'
click 'Change the way Security Center alerts me'
uncheck the desired boxes
click 'OK'
close Security Center
close Control Panel
