How to Make the Perfect Baseball Bat | My Shopify Business Story

Sam Holman, the founder of SAM BAT, is known for making the first solid maple bat for the MLB (Major League Baseball). Since 1997, SAM BAT has created over 75,000 maple baseball bats for the MLB. In this Shopify Business Story, Sam Holman takes us through the process of making the perfect baseball bat. For Sam, the perfect MLB bat is all in the details.

What makes a SAM BAT so special? A SAM BAT is made from a single piece of pure maple wood and is meticulously hand made by experienced craftsmen. One of the most notable SAM BAT customers is a former pro baseball player, Barry Bonds. Sam was the first bat maker to create a bat made specifically to Barry's specifications. This baseball bat went on to be called the 2K1. Barry Bonds used the 2K1 to hit 73 single-season home runs — Incredible!
