Description from the creator

In this video I will be presenting some tips & techniques on how to build a better deck in Pokemon TCG Online.

Card Building

Card building or perhaps more accurately, card acquisition, is the process of building up your library of card sin pokemon tcg online. While it may be tempting to use your tokens to buy up the latest booster packs to see what you get, I would argue that there is a better straggly to card acquisition.
The most important part of this is making a plan, know what cards you want, know what sets they come in, and how they can most easily be obtained.

First thing s first is getting the coins that you can spend in the store, click here to discover how to do that- youtube.com/watch?v=y0qJ1-mM-04

One you have got a bank of coins its time to think of an idea for a deck, a quick Google search if one way of discovering popular options, but simply playing against others and finding card combinations that you like is another option.

With the cards combination have in mind it might be a good idea to write them down somewhere as you begin your quest to acquire them.

First begin by assuring you have a good base of trainer cards to support your deck when it is created.

Buying a theme deck is a great way to do this.
The staple of many top decks (minus night march) is a base of EX cards. These cards are supper powerful and are at the center of a good deck. Acquiring EX cards can be tough, but there are two beck ways to do it/. First is knowing which EX cards you want, and buy the boosters from the set that it comes in, hoping you get that cards. OR you could trade for it. The best leverage to trade for an ex is another EX card or booster packs which you can win from playing versus watches.

Deck Composition.

Your first crafted deck might took something like this. Using evolution chains from your default theme decks as a base and supported by a number of powerful ex cards. Trainer cards should focus on three things, draw power like juniper, cilan, or tierno, disruption cards like Lysander and support cards like Pokémon center lady, and focus bands.

Its important for to go too over board with energy, but 18 energy as a base is standard for these types or decks, and with a better spread of trainer cards you can reduce that energy count significantly.

Play Testing & Support

I created this really fun Eggsecute and weavvile deck reasontly after I saw it being used in a versus match. I've play tested it online quite a bit, getting a feel for the deck and how to improve it, while I'm still in the process of acquiring the cards I need.

While you may not win many games it this phase play testing is a vital part of creating a good deck.

Lastly, if you want some advice or a second opinions, reddit's Pokémon trading cards game community is a great place to go. The folks there are always nice and helpful, and it might help you to tap into their expertise if you're struggling.
