In this video, I will be making a Minecraft skin of the Pokemon Sawk. While I'm working on it I will explain what I'm doing and give some tips and tricks.
This is part one out of two, in which I will show the basics of how Minecraft textures work and how to make them. I will start with a basic template, then add the basic colors and finally add all the details. In the next part, I will finish the texture with shading.
I have quite a bit of experience making textures in Minecraft, so I thought it would be a good idea to share some of my knowledge.
