Adjusting Glasses with Hot Water // Thorough tutorial for ACETATE

You CAN skip ahead to 2:17 for the actual tutorial but I do feel like my disclaimers are useful; if you don't want to hear them you can read the general gist below

This method would work for sunglasses/ eyeglasses that are too loose OR too tight as I talk about pretty in depth in the video. Just in case, be sure not to submerge your lenses in the water if they have coatings of ANY kind and to dry them with towels with no fabric softener sheets or liquid especially on the lenses.


Do remember this method is only suggested for acetate frames, and make sure your water is not boiling or about to boil.

If you're not 100% comfortable with adjusting, know that you won't be able to replace your glasses as easily as an optical shop who agrees to take responsibility would be, so there's that option too. Would never want you to damage them in a way that can't be repaired so just use your own intuition with it :)
