Cherry Blossoms cake Tutorial | Spring Cake | Greenwich Park

🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
This cake was actually made for my birthday.
I didn't really plan on a tutorial but just filmed the whole process as I went along. Also my first tut since moving to a new home.

Before I start I'd like to mention about the speed in my videos as I got a few comments on my last videos regarding that. I usually time-lapse my videos due to the long length and also due to the fact that everyone gets bored watching lengthy videos. One of the ways to sort this out is to go the toggle bar on the right bottom corner and select the speed. Slow it down to the desired amount and viola!

Right so coming back to cake...
For the trees I just used regular art and craft wires.
The Cherry Blossoms were piped using a PME 42 nozzle filled with sugar flair coloured baby pink Royal icing.

The benches were made from Gumpaste.
When you glue on one side leave it to dry for a couple of hours before gluing on the other side.

The imprint I've made on the path is from a food safe net

Any questions please feel free to put them in the comments below.

This design was inspired by the beautiful Cherry Blossoms at the Greenwich Park. If you haven't been there yet please make it a point to go there next year during spring. The sight was the most beautiful we've ever seen The photo in the end taken at Greenwich park was by my husband allistair. If you'd like to see his work he's on youtube.com/channel/UCScREFTdFevlempgC57m9oA He usually posts our travel/ holiday videos, drone videos etc.

Thank you all for continuously supporting me and liking my videos. I do appreciate everyone that comes to my channel even though I don't usually post videos very often.

If you have an IG come over and follow me. I'm always posting what I'm upto on there. IG - marias4cakes
