Attract guys when you struggle with Body image maintenance

It’s all a numbers game. The more men you attract the more chances at love you’ll have.

For the same reasons we
we all check dates at the grocery store looking for the furthest expiration date we can find. For the same reason we check the reviews before buy a product or sample things before we purchase them. It’s human nature
We are trying to give ourselves the best shot at quality. Men choosing their women are no different. So much of what you offer a relationship is assumed by how you present yourself. I meet a lot of women who don’t realize just how much they are limiting their dating prospects. Or just how much they are shrinking their dating pool of available men. Not necessarily by just being overweight, or not being traditionally beautiful by common societal standards but by believing that’s all men people are judging as they reject them.

Now listen this video isn’t to tell women to work harder to impress men or to not be themselves. It’s just to get some of y’all thinking a little deeper about a mans selection process. Many women complain about being overlooked by men. Sometimes after just seeing or talking with them once, the why of it all is obvious.

Presentation is everything. Way too many women write me asking why they keep getting rejected or why guys never notice them. And when I look at their Instagram or Facebook pages I’m forced to answer their question with a question in my mind at least. And this is What the hell are wearing? Why would you present yourself like that? Of course I’m a diplomat, so I don’t say it like that. I usually say something to the effect of “have you considered switching styles”

A lot of them dress like you’ve been married for 20 years. Many have given up and if asked they may even say “I don’t need no man or I ain’t trying to impress nobody”.... they won’t.

I’ve noticed that body image issues often cause women to rebel against the idea of love or romance because they don’t truly feel worthy of it. They turn away from dating because to try and fail would usher in feelings of hopelessness. Giving up at least feels like a choice, like control.

This seems to be especially true with some plus sized women and those who feel ugly.

Shame and body image issues often mute their sexuality causing even the men who would otherwise be interested to overlook them romantically. By mute I mean giving off professional or basic friendly vibes to all the men they meet.
