How to Build a Relationship With Your Hamster

► Hamsters and their owners should have a well-founded relationship with each other. You need to build a relationship with your new pet, or it won't be very happy ✔

► Tips
+ When you hold your hamster, be calm with no sudden movements so you don't startle it.
+ Treat your hamster if its your own child; care for it.
+ Make sure your hamster is safe and loved and you'll have the best relationship you can possibly have with it.
+ Don't let your hamster get eaten too and also let it crawl on you so that it knows that it is okay to crawl.
+ Play with your hamster and talk to it gently everyday to build a strong friendship.
+ Make sure to be calm while holding the hamster for the first time.
+ Play with your hamster at least once a day but remember they are crepuscular ✔

► Warnings
+ Do not let your hamster out of sight.
+ Don't EVER hurt or shout at your hamster.
+ Don't feed your hamster too many treats.
+ Talk to your hamster a lot before holding it, and if you're nervous about picking it up, either just stroke it/talk to it until you're confident enough, or ask someone else to pick it up and let them pass it to you. NEVER pick up a hamster if you don't know how to hold it properly, because you could hurt it.
+ Be prepared to be bitten, and when and if your hamster does bite you, don't act shocked or hurt ✔
