How to build a wooden planter box | CHEAP
In this video I show you how to use 7- 6' fence pickets and 1-8' 2x4 to build a 2'x2' wooden planter for your garden, patio, deck, or porch. This planter is big and it is an awesome statement piece. You will love the size and the ease of build. The lumber only cost around $13 and add in a few fasteners, glue, and some stain this project could be completed for as little as $25.

4 Fence Pickets cut to 12 @ 23 1/2"
1 =2x4 treated cut to 4 equal lengths (desired height of finished box)...I wanted mine to sit off the ground, so I added a couple of inches to the bottom. Then rip the 2x4 and glue together to form an "L" to make each leg a corner. Attach flat (fence picket) boards to legs using brads and glue to create box.

1 fence picket ripped down to create bottom support slats
1 fence picket ripped down and mitered to form finished top

Stain or paint to taste.
