change your folder background in windows 7.

Troubleshoot:

some say that this program only works with win 7 versions above home prenium. might be true, might be false.

check which folders you are applying the changes to. My computer, my documents and such folders can not be changed.

if your folder is named in any language other than English, the thing won't work. change your folder name to a random name in English, even one letter would be fine. apply the background change and rename your folder.

if no pictures show after you have applied the changes but there IS a desktop.ini file in the folder you were working with, check the content of that file and see if the content makes sense (correct picture address etc.). If everything seems right, refresh the folder window. If the picture still doesn't show, close the folder window. Open your task manager and terminate explorer.exe. Restart it and navigate back to your folder, refresh and see if the picture shows. If not, restart your computer and try again. If there was NO desktop.ini file and you are sure you did everything right, your computer isn't compatible with the program.

you need to run the thing as administrator. ALSO, you need to be logged in as the administrator, not as some guest or whatever. refresh the explorer after you log in

did you change the location of your picture files? renaming folders that contain the pictures or contain the folder containing the pictures also messes up things

if you applied any themepacks, they might come with settings that change your folder background. in this case, w7fbc might not work. (rare case)

if you have any more specific problems, leave a comment ALONGWITH the content of the desktop.ini file of the folder you want to apply change to. Refer to end of video for instructions on how.

good luck
