If you're looking to change your Channel Display Name on your YouTube Channel, this video will show you step-by-step how to change it.

I've been getting a lot of questions asking how to change the channel display name, rather than the youtube username name.

For people who have set up the YouTube username on their channel and have their Channel URL, some want to change the name that is displayed when they leave comments on videos on YouTube.

Here I walk you through that process so you can change your YouTube Channel Display name after you've set up your YouTube URL/Username name.

1:01 The first thing you need to do on your Channel is to disconnect Google+ from your account. To do this, watch the video, the link is above.

1:18 When you have Google+ disconnected, go to the top right of your channel and click on your Channel Name and click on Settings from the dropdown menu.

1:26 When in the Settings area, click on the Advanced link beside your Channel Icon image.

1:32 Next, click on the blue "Connect with a Google+ page" button.

1:45 You now have the ability to change your Display Name. Select "Choose a better name" from the options you have.

1:55 Enter the new name that you want displayed on your Channel, make sure to check the box that says "I agree to the Page Terms" and click on the blue Next button and then on the Continue button.

Once you've done this, you have up to 14 days to reverse/change it back to your original settings if you want to.

You will now have 2 accounts available to you. 1 is your old Channel with a new Display Name and your original account with your email associated with it can be added as a new Channel now too.
