BoxorRoxor here with a tutorial on how to clean your skateboard/longboard bearings without the use of chemicals.

I do this to every set of bearings once every month or two depending on use.

Please note that this is just preventative maintenance to prolong the life of your bearings or revive an old set as spares. If you want your bearings to be brand-spanking-new it is strongly advised to set all parts (minus shields) in paint thinner to remove 100% of the contaminants.
