This is a small video in which you will see how to connect router to modem.

Easy steps to connect the modem to the router and router to the computer. Making a connection is the first stage of your Router installation.

Usually there 5 ports on the router. 1 port is for Internet connection to the modem. 4 ports are for connecting your computer and other devices to the router. All the ports are Ethernet ports. So you will need Ethernet cable to make connections.

Connect the modem to the Internet or WAN port on the router.
Connect your main computer to one of the 4 Ethernet ports on the router.
