How to Cook A Tri Tip Steak In The Oven - Tri Tip Beef Roast

This Tri Tip Steak was cooked in the oven. I typically would cook Tri Tip on the grill, but many of my subscribers don't have a grill, so I wanted to show them that you don't necessarily need a grill to cook a great tri tip steak. I basically used the same technique that I would on the grill. This tri tip steak was wonderful. It has slices that ranged from medium to medium rare. I really liked the rub that was sent to me by Howlin smoke BBQ. The coffee rub was a very savory rub which combined well with the gunpowder rub he sent me. If you dont have a BBQ grill, you can still cook great steaks in the oven using this technique.
