Hello and welcome back to In the Kitchen with Matt, I am your host Matt Taylor, today I got a little food hack for you, I am going to show you how to cook an egg, using a mason jar lid ring, it’s really cool, and what it does is it winds up creating a nice round egg, that will fit perfectly on an English muffin, or a piece of bread. Let’s get started. All we do is take a nonstick skillet, we do a little kitchen spray, or you can use butter, or oil, whatever you like to cook your eggs in. And then you take your mason ring and I am going to make sure to spray it as well, on the inside, it just helps to make the egg come out. Just put it right there, you could do it this way, or you can do it upside down. Either way works fine, turn the heat onto medium. I am going to take our egg and put it right in there. And look the egg is contained and it is cooking. Go ahead and let that cook, depending on how you like your egg. I will also usually put a lid on it, to cook the top. Looking good, add a little salt, little pepper, and now if you want over easy, what you will do, is you will go in here and take your spatula and flip it over just like that. Ok, and at this point you can remove the ring, using, usually you want to push it down a little bit on the edges, and even with spraying it sometimes it will stick, there you go, now that egg is done and ready to go on a sandwich. All right for my nice little breakfast sandwich, I got my homemade English muffins, toasted with a little bit of butter, put some cheese on there, bacon, yummy and then the star our egg fits it perfectly, awesome. All right there is a little food hack for you using a mason jar lid ring, to create a perfectly round, egg, really easy to do, if I can do it you can do it, go out there and try it, see if you like it. I am Matt Taylor, this has been another episode of In the Kitchen with Matt, thank you for joining me, as always if you have any questions or comment, put them down below and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
