How to Craft a Duck Tape® Clock

Learn how to craft a DIY Clock using Duck Tape® brand duct tape in this easy craft tutorial from DIY crafter, Karen Kavett. This clock was made using an aqua, gold, neon pink, and white color theme, but with hundreds of colors and prints available, you can substitute these tapes with any style you choose.

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED
Card Stock
Ruler
Pencil
Craft Knife
Scissors
Numbers
Clock
Craft Board

INSTRUCTIONS
(00:31) Take the plastic cover, hands, and clock face off of the clock.
(00:51) Place the clock face on a piece of card stock, trace the center hole and the outer edge of the circle, and cut out the shape and the center hole.
(01:03) Place a strip of your first color of Duck Tape on the top half of the circle, cutting off any excess along the edges.
(01:17) Use a second color of Duck Tape and place a strip on the bottom half of the circle, again cutting off any excess along the edges.
(01:22) Place two overlapping strips of the third color of Duck Tape on the crafting board and use your ruler and craft knife to cut out a wedge shape.
(01:40) Take the wedge-shaped piece of Duck Tape and place it on the middle of the circle, again cutting off any excess.
(01:51) Cut out the center hole of the circle.
(02:03) Using a fourth color of Duck Tape, lay a strip on the craft board and place the number stickers 1, 2, 3, 6, and 9 on the tape. Carefully cut out the numbers with your craft knife.
(02:50) Peel the excess tape away and remove the number stickers, then put them around the clock face with two small rectangles in between the four numbers.
(03:24) Put the clock face, hands, and plastic cover back onto the clock.
